Day 2 at Tokyo DisneySea — Fantasy Springs Unlimited & the Final Push (Part 2)

Blog

Welcome back! In Part 1, I covered the morning at Tokyo DisneySea — from the show lottery win to knocking out six major attractions before lunch, all with barely any wait.

Day 2 at Tokyo DisneySea — 25th Anniversary Magic & Unlimited Rides (Part 1)
Here's how I spent my morning at Tokyo DisneySea with the 2026 Attraction Unlimited Vacation Package — skipping 100-minute queues, winning a show lottery, and soaking up the 25th Anniversary magic, all before lunch!

In Part 2, it’s the afternoon session — and the moment I’d been looking forward to most since booking this trip: Fantasy Springs, finally on the unlimited pass.

Here’s what’s coming up:

  • 🎢 Three more major rides back-to-back — the unlimited pass still going strong
  • 🏰 First steps into Fantasy Springs — Rapunzel, Peter Pan & a frozen surprise
  • 🎁 Vacation Package merchandise exchange — don’t forget yours!
  • 🎭 Dance the Globe — our lottery win paying off
  • 🍗 The must-eat food at DisneySea — spicy chicken leg alert
  • 🌙 The long journey home — with one final mission

📅 Afternoon & Evening Schedule

🎢 1:00 PM — Soarin’: Fantastic Flight, Round 2! (140 min → 10 min!)

Back for seconds on Soarin’: Fantastic Flight — and honestly, this ride never gets old.

Standby queue: 140 minutes. Our wait: 10 minutes. The afternoon crowds had well and truly arrived, making the Attraction Special Ticket feel more valuable than ever.

🌋 1:30 PM — Journey to the Center of the Earth, Round 2! (200 min → 15 min!)

Two hundred minutes. That’s over three hours of waiting — for one ride.

Our wait: 15 minutes.

The afternoon queue for Journey to the Center of the Earth had reached a genuinely staggering level. This moment alone probably justified the entire cost of the Attraction Special Ticket.

🌀 2:00 PM — Raging Spirits, Round 2! (120 min → 10 min!)

Standby: 120 minutes. Our wait: 10 minutes.

Three major re-rides done in just over an hour. Without the unlimited pass, those same three rides would have taken the entire rest of the day.

🏰 2:30 PM — Welcome to Fantasy Springs!

After all that riding, it was finally time to step into the newest port at Tokyo DisneySea — Fantasy Springs.

First stop: The Snuggly Duckling, the Tangled-themed restaurant tucked into Rapunzel’s Forest. We stopped in to redeem a free drink voucher and ordered a special drink to mark the occasion. The theming inside is gorgeous — stepping in genuinely feels like walking onto the set of the film.

🏮 3:00 PM — Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival (70 min → 10 min!)

Our first Fantasy Springs attraction: Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival.

Standby: 70 minutes. Our wait: 10 minutes.

This is one of the three attractions that was newly added to the unlimited pass in April 2026 — and riding it with a 10-minute wait felt like a genuine privilege. The lantern sequence at the end is breathtaking.

🧚 3:20 PM — Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure (80 min → 10 min!)

Next door: Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure.

Standby: 80 minutes. Our wait: 10 minutes.

Boarding a boat and soaring through Never Land in 3D was even more magical than I expected. Another one of the newly added attractions on the unlimited pass — and absolutely worth it.

❄️ 3:50 PM — Arendelle Royal Banquet & a Frozen Disappointment

We made our way to Arendelle Royal Banquet — the Frozen-themed restaurant inside Fantasy Springs — to redeem our free drink and churros vouchers. Both were special 25th Anniversary versions, and the interior of the restaurant is stunning — it genuinely feels like dining inside Arendelle Castle.

We sat our Mickey plush in the queen’s seat for a photo. 👑

Now, the bad news: Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey had been announced as a full-day closure that very day. An unplanned shutdown — the one attraction in Fantasy Springs we hadn’t yet ridden.

If it had been running, we would have gone back two or three times without hesitation. Truly gutting — but these things happen, and it’s just part of the theme park experience!

⚠️ Always check the official Tokyo Disney Resort app on the morning of your visit for any unexpected attraction closures. It happens — and it’s better to know early so you can adjust your plans!

🎁 4:00 PM — Fantasy Springs Gifts: Vacation Package Merchandise Exchange

One important task we almost forgot: redeeming our Vacation Package merchandise exchange ticket at Fantasy Springs Gifts.

⚠️ If you’re on the Vacation Package, do NOT forget to redeem this before you leave the park! It’s easy to overlook in the excitement of the day. We exchanged ours for a 25th Anniversary charm — a lovely keepsake from the trip.

🐠 4:30 PM — Port Discovery: Nemo & Friends SeaRider + Aquatopia

It’s a bit of a walk from Fantasy Springs to Port Discovery — one of the longer treks in the park — but worth it for these two classics.

💡 Aquatopia is one of the attractions not included in the Attraction Special Ticket, so factor in some regular queue time if you want to ride it!

🚃 5:30 PM — DisneySea Electric Railway

The legs were well and truly done by this point. We hopped on the DisneySea Electric Railway — a 15-minute wait — and let it carry us to our next destination. Sometimes the right move is just to sit down.

( view from my seat on the railway)

🌭 6:00 PM — Pre-Show Snack: Hot Dog & Drink

With Dance the Globe starting at 6:40 PM, we found a nearby wagon and grabbed hot dogs and drinks while settling in to wait for the show.

🎭 6:40 PM — Dance the Globe (25th Anniversary Edition)

The show we’d won in the morning lottery: Dance the Globe, in its special 25th Anniversary version!!

The costumes were absolutely stunning, and the energy of the performance was electric. Winning the lottery and choosing the evening slot paid off perfectly — the nighttime atmosphere added something really special to the whole experience.

🎯 7:10 PM — Toy Story Mania!, Round 3!

Show done — straight to Toy Story Mania! for one final ride. Our third time on this attraction today.

10 minutes. Of course. 😄

🐭 7:30 PM — Minnie Mouse Greeting Attempt (Line Cut — So Close!)

We made our way via the DisneySea Electric Railway toward the Minnie Mouse character greeting — only to arrive and find the line had already been cut for the evening. No Minnie today!

We took it in stride, found a nearby wagon, and ordered Spicy Chicken Legs instead.

If you haven’t tried the Spicy Chicken Leg at Tokyo DisneySea — put it on your list immediately. It’s one of those iconic park foods that lives up to every bit of the hype. Crispy, spicy, and absolutely delicious. A must-eat every single visit.

🌙 8:00–8:30 PM — Slowly Making Our Way Out

Exhausted but happy, we began the slow wander toward the exit. No rushing — just soaking in the last moments of an incredible two-day run.

You might be wondering — what about Believe! Sea of Dreams, DisneySea’s nighttime harbor show?

We skipped it on purpose. Because we’d already watched it — from the terrace at Oceano during our pre-stay night, before the Vacation Package even began. Best decision ever.

If you want to know how we watched a DisneySea harbor show without even entering the park, check out that post here 👇

Pre-Stay Day: My Full Schedule Before the Magic Begins 04/2026
Not sure how to spend your pre-stay day at Tokyo Disney? Here's my full hour-by-hour schedule — from Bon Voyage shopping to watching Believe! at Oceano, all without a park ticket!

🧳 8:30 PM — One Final Mission: Pick Up the Luggage!

There was one last thing to do before calling it a night.

That’s right — the luggage was still at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. 😂

Tired legs and all, we boarded the Disney Resort Line one more time and made the journey to Disneyland Hotel to collect our bags. A slightly exhausting ending — but honestly, it just added to the adventure.

✅ 9:00 PM — Bags collected. Trip complete. Goodnight! 💤

💡 The Bottom Line

Two days. Two parks. Dozens of rides with barely any waiting. An unforgettable trip.

Next up: the full Vacation Package recap — total rides, total wait time saved, and exactly how much free food we ate. Stay tuned! 🎉
