🏨 The 4 Hotel Categories
Before diving into individual hotels, here’s how Tokyo Disney Resort classifies its official hotels:
| Category | Hotels | What to Expect |
|---|---|---|
| 💚 Value | Celebration Hotel | Most affordable, straightforward service |
| 💛 Moderate | Toy Story Hotel | Great value with strong theming |
| 🔵 Deluxe | Ambassador Hotel, Disneyland Hotel, MiraCosta, Fantasy Springs Hotel (Fantasy Chateau) | Luxurious with extensive perks |
| 💜 Luxury | Fantasy Springs Hotel (Grand Chateau) | The most exclusive experience at the resort |
Knowing which category suits your priorities makes narrowing down your choice much easier!
💚 Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel — Best Value Pick

🏨 Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel
Just minutes from Tokyo DisneySea & Disneyland — a perfect base for your Disney adventure!
Book Now on Klook →“Disney hotel perks without the Disney hotel price tag”
The most affordable official Disney hotel — and surprisingly, it still comes with Disneyland Happy Entry, just like the more expensive options.
Two buildings are available — “Wish” and “Discover” — each with a different concept and aesthetic. Always check which building you’re booking, as they have distinct themes and room styles.
✅ Key Features
- Lowest price point of all Disney hotels
- Disneyland Happy Entry included
- Disney hotel branding and atmosphere
⚠️ The Trade-Off
The main drawback is location. The Celebration Hotel is the furthest Disney hotel from the parks — a free shuttle bus ride of around 20 minutes to each park. You won’t be seeing Disney fireworks from your window here.

“Woody, Buzz, and Andy’s room — for the whole family”
The second most affordable option — and genuinely one of the most charming hotels at the resort for families with young children.
The entire hotel is themed around Toy Story — giant Woody and Buzz statues outside, Andy’s room-inspired interiors in every guest room, and playful details throughout. Rooms comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests, with pull-down beds available for larger groups.

🎩 Disney Ambassador Hotel — For Character Lovers & Couples

“1930s Hollywood glamour meets Disney magic”
An Art Deco-styled hotel inspired by 1930s America — elegant, sophisticated, and beloved by adult Disney fans. Character rooms feature a range of beloved Disney characters, and the overall atmosphere is polished and refined.
The standout feature of this hotel is one that no other hotel at the resort can match:
🌟 Chef Mickey — Tokyo’s Only Character Dining Restaurant
Chef Mickey is a character dining restaurant where Mickey, Minnie, and friends visit your table during your meal for greetings and photos. This is the only restaurant in Tokyo Disney Resort where you can get photos taken together with characters at your table — it’s not a show restaurant, but a genuine sit-down dining experience with character interaction throughout.
⚠️ Reservations are essential and fill up fast. Book as early as possible!
✅ Key Features
- Character dining at Chef Mickey — exclusive to this hotel
- Direct connection to Ikspiari shopping complex

🏰 Tokyo Disneyland Hotel — Best Disneyland Access

“Step out of the hotel and you’re already there”
Positioned right at the main entrance of Tokyo Disneyland, this is the ultimate choice for guests whose priority is maximum time at Disneyland with minimum commute.
Room options range from standard rooms to luxurious suites, with character-themed rooms inspired by Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Tinker Bell.
The hotel also has an on-site Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique — the princess makeover experience for children — making it a natural choice for families wanting to combine park days with that magical transformation moment.
💡 I’ve stayed here myself — check out my full room review for the full picture! 👇

✅ Key Features
- Literally 1 minute walk to Tokyo Disneyland entrance

🌸 Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel — The Newest Hotel

“Step into the magic of Fantasy Springs from your own hotel”
Opened in June 2024, this is the newest hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort — and it’s built directly connected to the Fantasy Springs area of DisneySea. If Fantasy Springs is your priority, no other hotel gets you closer.
The hotel has two distinct wings:
| Wing | Starting Price | Category |
|---|---|---|
| Fantasy Chateau | ~¥70,000/night | Deluxe |
| Grand Chateau | ~¥300,000/night | Luxury |
💡 I’ve stayed at the Grand Chateau and written a full review — check it out here! 👇

🌟 The Standout Perk: Fantasy Springs Direct Access
Fantasy Springs Hotel guests can enter DisneySea through a dedicated entrance directly into the Fantasy Springs area— available from opening, this means arriving in Fantasy Springs before almost anyone else in the park.
⚠️ The Challenge
This hotel is extremely difficult to book — second only to MiraCosta in reservation difficulty. Demand far exceeds availability, and rooms disappear quickly on booking day.
💰 Quick Facts
| Details | |
|---|---|
| 💰 Price (2 guests) | ~¥70,000–¥250,000+/night |
| 🚪 Access | Direct connection to Fantasy Springs, DisneySea |
| 🌅 Happy Entry | Both Tokyo Disneyland AND DisneySea |
👤 Best For
- ✔ Guests who want to experience Fantasy Springs at its fullest
- ✔ Those seeking a luxury or ultra-luxury Disney hotel experience
- ✔ Anyone who wants Happy Entry access to both parks
💎 Hotel MiraCosta — The Most Coveted Hotel at the Resort

“The only hotel inside Tokyo DisneySea — and it shows”
Hotel MiraCosta sits inside the grounds of Tokyo DisneySea itself — the only hotel at the resort with this distinction. Inspired by the architecture of Venice and the Italian Mediterranean coast, it’s the most romantic and sought-after hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Harbour-view rooms offer something truly unique: watching Believe! Sea of Dreams from your own room window — no park ticket, no crowd, just the show framed by your private window.
💡 I’ve stayed here and written a full review — check it out! 👇
💡 Oceano restaurant is also inside MiraCosta — read my full Oceano dining review here! 👇

🌟 What Makes It Special
- Inside DisneySea — a dedicated private gate lets you enter and exit the park throughout the day
- Harbour-view rooms — watch Believe! and daytime shows from your room window
- Oceano restaurant — dine on the terrace during Believe! (no park ticket needed)
- Happy Entry for both parks
⚠️ The Challenge
MiraCosta is the hardest hotel to book at the entire resort. Harbour-view rooms sell out within seconds of the booking window opening. Standard rooms are competitive too. Cancellation hunting is often the only realistic path to a reservation.
🌊 Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta
The ultimate DisneySea experience — stay inside the park and wake up to magical Mediterranean views!

🏩 Non-Disney Hotels — When Off-Site Makes Sense
In addition to the official Disney hotels, there are 6 partner hotels known as “Official Hotels” located near Tokyo Disney Resort.
Many are within walking distance or a short free shuttle ride from the parks, with pricing that can be significantly lower than Disney hotels for comparable comfort.
